Illegibilus: Sophie Bankston

Though Sophie is kind and willing to go to any lengths to keep you happy, it is those traits that lead to her down fall. She often does things that might be uncomfortable or something she wouldn't enjoy if it will make you happy, throwing her needs and wants aside for someone else's. Avoiding conflict but when she raises her voice it's usually for the sake of others rather than herself, often she will blame herself for what went wrong. In short her biggest personality fault is she has a habit of taking on other peoples problems and pushing her own into a corner and ignoring them.

Born into a muggle family gave Sophie's parents a shock when they first saw their baby girl doing strange things like making flower pots float, as accepting as they were that their baby had magic, that relationship didn't last long as Sophie's parents were killed in a grocery store robbery, while Sophie was being babysat by her grandmother. Taking in her granddaughter, Sophie was raised by her loving Grandmother, Margery, being a muggle she couldn't completely understand Sophie but tried very hard to teach her that everyone in the world is equally and that even though you may have powers its best to use them to help the weak and down trout, growing up in this environment lead her to be kind hearted and sadly take on other peoples problems, leading to her to be bullied in school, her weight didn't help the situation ether but, eating had been one of the ways she would escape the world and her grandmother being the usual grandmother that she would never say anything about it and loved her anyways, always offering her seconds, she began to gain more weight, causing her to be teased more and more. One day the sad little Sophie had had enough and without realizing it or meaning to she used magic, hurting one of the other children. Afraid of hurting another kid and not wanting to be tease anymore Sophie locked herself up in her house caring for her grandmother and helping her around the house.

The day Sophie received her letter to hogwarts made her jump for joy she was finally going to meet people like her, people who could use magic as well but, She was hesitant to go, her grandmother was getting older and having trouble getting around the house, making herself meals wasn't possible anymore, Sophie was her main care giver. Her grandmother protested and demanded that the girl go, saying that her aunt could easily take her in and watch over her. Sad to say goodbye to her grandmother she boarded the Hogwarts Express, heading off to Hogwarts, writing to her grandmother any chance she gets.
